The location was great, right off the highway and with a deck facing Lake Superior. It was nice to have a clean and tidy room, with comfortable beds.

One of the front desk staff was awful, very unfriendly and rude. the lack of maid service during our three-night stay was disappointing.

This hotel is close to everything we needed on Minnesota's North Shore. It was so convenient to be just a short distance from the restaurant where we had reservations. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and even a Jacuzzi for no extra charge. The breakfast had a good variety of options, including scrambled eggs one day and fried eggs the next. great value for money!

This hotel is convenient to many North Shore attractions and located right on the lake. The rooms have all the basic amenities and even include a Jacuzzi for no extra cost. They also have a fridge and microwave, air freshener, and even a full kitchen. The breakfast is also great for starting the day off right.

The breakfast spread is adequate, with a good selection of hot and cold items. The hotel even provides bath salts for the jacuzzi tub in the room, allowing guests to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel features a massive fireplace with an accompanying moose head, adding a touch of rustic charm to the overall ambiance.

The room at Americinn was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I was impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. I particularly appreciated that they promptly alerted my family when my mother had a fall outside the hotel and needed assistance. The availability of good coffee throughout the day was a nice touch. Despite a few minor hiccups like the terrible instant eggs and limited dining options, overall I had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to others.

My recent stay at Americinn in Tofte was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were so comfortable. I especially loved the convenient location of the hotel right on Highway 61 with a beautiful deck facing Lake Superior. Every morning, my husband and I enjoyed watching the sunrise while sipping freshly brewed coffee. It was the perfect way to start our day. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast, which was a nice bonus.

Although our overall stay was great, there were a few minor drawbacks. The internet connection was sometimes limited, which was a bit frustrating.
