I had a phenomenal experience at this oceanfront retreat. the staff, who are the owners, were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. the view from the room was absolutely incredible, with stunning vistas of the sea, marine life, and beautiful sunsets. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable and safe with the friendly family that runs the place. They even made sure I had one of the best views from my room. the room itself was well-equipped, with a kitchenette and a patio, perfect for quiet enjoyment of the bay. the breakfasts were delicious and reasonably priced, and the location was conveniently close to the bus and great bike routes.

I definitely got my money's worth staying at this hotel. The room was spacious with a kitchenette, comfortable beds, and a nice view of the bay. The location was perfect, overlooking the ocean and close to sandy beaches and sunset restaurants. The staff, especially Lucy, provided friendly and helpful service throughout my stay.

The only thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have a wider variety of options.

I had the most incredible stay at this oceanfront retreat. Waking up to the sound of the waves crashing and falling asleep to their soothing lullaby felt like a dream. The views from my patio were simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate us, even bringing us coffee in the morning to enjoy on our patio. The breakfasts were delicious and reasonably priced. Despite a couple of small inconveniences, like curtains that didn't open fully and sliding screens that didn't lock, the overall experience was absolutely phenomenal.

The owners were incredibly kind and generous, even treating us to a delicious Christmas meal. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at a waterfront property with a breathtaking ocean view. the owners of Traditional Sierra Leon Oceanfront Rooms - Adults Only were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. the top floor room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed sleeping with the patio doors open to the cool breeze and sound of the ocean. the location was ideal for a peaceful and romantic getaway, with beautiful sunset views and opportunities for whale watching. the staff were kind and even went out of their way to return a charger I had left behind. it was our best stay in Mexico!

The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with wide panoramic views of the bay. We were fortunate to spot some turtles from our balcony, which was a pleasant surprise. the spacious rooms were also a highlight, with comfortable king and queen-size beds. the location of the hotel was ideal, with a bus stop right in front and easy access to hikes and water taxis.

The hotel did not match the pictures we saw online. the stairs felt unsafe and the steel door before our room door made us feel a bit uneasy.

The top floor room offered an amazing ocean view, perfect for a peaceful and romantic getaway. Having a kitchenette in the room was a great advantage, allowing for quiet enjoyment of the bay and the option to cook your own meals.

The internet connection was sporadic and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. The hotel is quite remote, requiring a taxi to go anywhere and limiting nearby dining options.

the views from the room were absolutely spectacular, with a front view of the ocean and a restaurant conveniently located in the same spot. the rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen and a bathroom that had both front and rear entrances. the owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. the location was perfect, providing a peaceful oasis away from the busy city, yet still easily accessible to hikes, water taxis, and other attractions. I especially loved the quick walk to the Oxxo and the delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this place for a restful and relaxing vacation off the beaten trail!

Phenomenal! Perfect retreat on the ocean, marine life, sunsets, the crash of waves! I felt very comfortable and safe having the family that owns it there! The owners of this property were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Every day I woke up to see whales and dolphins swimming around. It’s built over a cliff so you’re basically staying in the ocean and that’s just so dang luxurious.

Curtains didn't open all the way and sliding screens didn't lock. I like fresh air not air conditioners so was bitten lots by mosquitos while I slept, bring repellent.

Wow! What a fantastic way to start the new year! the view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. We could walk right outside and be greeted by the stunning ocean view. And let me tell you, the sunsets were out of this world! We even had the pleasure of spotting some whales and colorful fish right from our balcony. the location was perfect too, with the bus stop just a few steps away, making it easy to explore nearby beaches like Mismaloya and Boca Beach. It was such a peaceful and tranquil place, perfect for a quiet and relaxing vacation. And the room itself was amazing! It was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen, which was a bonus. We also appreciated having a rear entrance to the room, giving us easy access to all the hotel amenities.

This meant that there were no on-site dining facilities available. However, the hotel did recommend a nearby restaurant for dinner and it turned out to be excellent, so it wasn't a major issue for us.
