amidst the tranquil desert, riad assia was a true oasis. the beautiful courtyard, attentive staff, and special fig jam made our stay near the old Kasbah unforgettable. cons: noisy courtyard disrupted our rest.

The staff at this small riad were wonderful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They organized a spontaneous trip to the desert with a private camp just for us, which was a magnificent experience. Our guides were friendly and cooked the best Tajine for us. They even took us to visit their family in a tiny village in the desert and introduced us to a tribe of nomads. As party people, we had a really great time and it was the best desert experience we could have asked for!
