Located in the heart of the bustling casbah, Riad Mandalay offers a truly authentic experience. Its maze-like streets provide a unique glimpse into local life, away from the tourist crowds. The proximity to the ruins of the Sultan's tombs and the Bahia Palace allows for easy exploration of the city's rich history. The friendly staff and lovely décor create a welcoming atmosphere, while the delicious breakfast is the perfect start to the day.

Some guests have mentioned that the rooms can be simple and not as luxurious as depicted in the photos.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location in a cool area called Kasbah was perfect for us – it was deeper in the narrow alleys of the medina, against a blank white wall, in a quiet area of the Medina. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We were impressed with the range of services offered, such as the service doctor on call, airport shuttle, and tours/ticket assistance. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating and air conditioning to keep us comfortable, as well as a terrace and dining table for added convenience. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for those relaxing evenings in.

We highly recommend this place to our friends!

Had a wonderful Xmas experience with my family! Loved the stunning decor and the serene atmosphere of the hotel. The location was perfect, close to the main square and attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing us with delicious mint tea upon arrival. The breakfast included a basket of bread with jam, juice, and coffee, which was a great start to our day. The Arabic hammam was a fantastic experience that we highly recommend.

The rooms were not as spacious as advertised online. We also had a hard time finding the location and had to ask locals for directions.
