our weekend in Damaraland couldn't have been better. the staff at grootberg were amazing, fixing our flat tire and making us feel right at home. the view from our balcony was breathtaking, and the walks along the plateau were just what we needed. the food was delicious, especially the homemade cake and biscuits.

Dining area lacked a cozy atmosphere.

We had a fantastic stay at Grootberg Lodge in Namibia. The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the klip river canyon. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. The dinner was delicious, and the entertainment provided by the crew was a great touch. We also appreciated the shuttle service to the mountain top, although we decided to try driving up ourselves for a thrilling experience. our stay was unforgettable and great value for money.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

the setting is breathtaking, with amazing views of the surrounding area. the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful, making us feel right at home. We had the pleasure of going on a guided tour with Moses, who took us on an unforgettable trip to search for mountain elephants. Though we didn't spot any lions, it was still a great experience filled with interesting information. the food served at the lodge was delicious, and the overall experience was well-managed. I would highly recommend Grootberg Lodge for its exceptional location and friendly staff.
