The hotel itself is a jaw-dropping architectural gem filled with history and amazing atmosphere. Various restaurants serve fine dishes and provide amazing service. It truly feels like a home away from home. The spa services, including pedicures, manicures, facials, body wraps. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, a locker room, and a 24-hour reception with 24-hour security. The bar/lounge area and outdoor dining area are perfect for relaxation and dining. The continental breakfast is delicious and there is a snack bar available. The paid airport shuttle is convenient for transportation. The hotel also has a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, steam room, treatment room, and laundry service. We had a fantastic stay at Baber Mahal Vilas. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. They went above and beyond to help us plan our local activities and even provided us with local SIM cards. The attention to detail and caring nature of the staff made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique property, far surpassing the experience of larger chain resorts. Despite being located in a buzzing capital city, the hotel offered a peaceful and tranquil environment, allowing us to relax and unwind. The on-site restaurants provided excellent dining options, and we particularly enjoyed the Nepali restaurant. The only drawbacks were a slight delay with breakfast one morning and some noise from nearby construction, but these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise exceptional experience. we highly recommend Baber Mahal Vilas for anyone visiting Kathmandu.

We appreciate the free drink at check-in and the voucher for a complimentary breakfast at a nearby café. the location of the hotel was great, close to shops and restaurants. the bed was comfortable, and we had a nice view of the city.

the noise outside on the street kept us awake at night. We wish the hotel had provided earplugs.

There was one incident where a guest fell ill after dining at the Continental restaurant.

The only minor issue we encountered was the lack of clear signage in the complex, making it difficult to navigate at times. this was overshadowed by the helpfulness of the hotel staff, who were always willing to assist with directions and recommendations.
