The owner personally picked me up from the airport, great recommendations for food, lovely and cosy room, wonderful breakfast and breathtaking views.

It was all superb.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk away from the main square. The triple room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and up to western standards. The staff, especially the manager Sajan, was friendly and helpful. One night, he even took us to a restaurant with live music for a fun evening.

One negative aspect was the breakfast, which didn't vary much from day to day and the portions of jam and toast were small.

I couldn't ask for more during my stay at Tulaja Boutique. The staff made me feel right at home and went above and beyond to assist me. The local food they served for breakfast and dinner was the best I've had in Nepal. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a minute's walk from Durbar Square. Plus, the view of the city and Himalayas from the highest building in the area was breathtaking. The hot shower with good water pressure was a rare treat as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent an amazing Easter break at this hotel! the views from our room were stunning, and we loved spending time on the rooftop terrace, which offered a beautiful panoramic view of the city. the staff were incredibly helpful and always on hand to offer recommendations for local attractions to explore. We also appreciated the convenient location, which allowed us to easily explore all the key tourist spots in the area.

The unexpected extra costs that we weren't aware of ahead of time. It would have been helpful if all the fees and charges were disclosed up front so that we could budget accordingly.

They were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist with anything I needed. I particularly appreciated their insights into local life and their recommendations for authentic Nepali cuisine, which turned out to be the best food I've had in Nepal. the hotel itself offers stunning views of the city and the Himalayas on clear days, being the tallest building in the area. Plus, the shower provided a rare combination of hot water and good water pressure, making it a delightful experience. the location of the hotel is also ideal, just a minute's walk from Darbur Square, and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. Another great feature is that some of the sockets have electricity even when there is a power outage.
