We booked into this hotel as a place to stay while we found a place to live in the area. I was coming to start a new job in the Netherlands. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Ezra was in every way.he greeted us in the rain after many hours of travel from North America, helped us get settled in, provided us with all kinds of information about local things, and made sure we were booked in for the long haul in case we could not find more permanent accommodations. The others who work there were equally great - always friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Clean, comfortable, with a very good breakfast - but really, it was the service that impressed us. This was a very nice welcome to the Netherlands, and we highly recommend this hotel.

I had a lovely stay at College Hotel. The location was perfect and very close to the center of town. The room was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for my stay. The staff, especially Ezra, were incredibly helpful and friendly. Ezra went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience and even made a restaurant reservation for me. I highly recommend College Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Alkmaar.

This hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of the city center. You're just a short walk away from all the main attractions, including the famous Friday cheese market. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with comfortable beds that guarantee a good night's sleep. The breakfast is delicious and will set you up for the day ahead.

The bathroom can be a bit chilly, so be sure to bring some slippers to avoid cold feet.

The breakfast was okay and the location was convenient for walking around the town. It was easy to find parking space around the hotel. the room was generally clean and well-maintained.

We stayed there for an Easter break and it was a huge disappointment. the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful and the room did not have any Easter decorations or even a chocolate egg.

We stayed at the College Hotel for a weekend getaway. Everything was perfect - from the charming church bells outside our window to the cozy beds and convenient location. We parked our car and didn't need it again until we left, as we were able to walk everywhere in the beautiful town center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the renovated building had so much history and charm. We especially loved the unique photos on the wall that told the story of the school. Definitely use the on-site parking for the cheese market event. We would highly recommend this hotel.
