We loved the comfortable and homely room, complete with nice touches like a Nespresso machine and toiletries. The hotel facilities were great, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and close to a park with a beautiful view.

My recent stay at The Windmill On The Common was absolutely wonderful. The room was lovely, spacious, and elegantly decorated, making it feel both comfortable and homely. I especially appreciated the individual color scheme, a refreshing break from the usual corporate decor found in most hotels. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with the tube just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the city. The little extras provided in the room, such as fresh milk, biscuits, and tea/coffee making facilities, added a special touch to my stay. The bar was great, and I adored the presence of Max, the adorable dog. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

While my stay was exceptional, I did notice a couple of minor drawbacks. the bathroom door tended to get stuck on the floor, resulting in a few accidental bumps and bruises.

The Windmill On The Common is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail in this hotel is truly impressive. From the little extras like a mini fridge and a nespresso coffee machine in the room to the luxurious duvet and high thread count sheets, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are well-appointed and have all the necessary amenities, including a bath, which is a wonderful bonus. The location of this hotel is perfect, with easy access to public transport and close proximity to Clapham Common park, where I attended a festival. And let's not forget the included breakfast, which was absolutely delicious and served with a smile.

The Xmas decorations were very cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. the breakfast was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. the location was convenient, as it was within walking distance of public transportation and a few local restaurants. the beds were also comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep.

The heating system was not working properly, which made the room uncomfortably cold. there were no slippers provided in the room, leaving us to either walk barefoot or bring our own.

Stayed as a family with older kids and everyone was happy. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the bar downstairs. the fact that the hotel provided phone chargers, hairdryers, and iron was a big plus. the location was great, overlooking an open space, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The staff at reception during check-in were not very helpful. They didn't know which room I would be staying in and it took a while for them to sort it out.

Rooms are quirky with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Great transport links with two nearby tube stations. Short walk to shops, bars, and restaurants in Clapham. Hotel has a bar, restaurant, garden, and burger shack. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

my recent stay at the windmill exceeded my expectations. the stunning and spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and fantastic location made for a fantastic christmas party experience. highly recommend!
