It was just a perfect match for a hurried visit in Amsterdam with good value for price. The room had lovely floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of sunlight. Be sure to explore the nearby cafes and shops within a short walking distance.

the hotel was filled with workmen at all hours, making me feel quite unsafe. the breakfast was the same boring salad every day—how original! i expected a complimentary gesture for all the inconveniences, but of course, that didn’t happen. my overall experience was underwhelming, as i had hopes for a luxurious stay that simply never came.

The check-in process is painfully slow!!! Room sizes can be inconsistent—some are disappointingly small!!! Noise issues from neighboring rooms can ruin comfort, and unpleasant odors upon arrival should be addressed!!! The lack of a bar on-site is a missed opportunity!!!

This place suits me perfectly, offering Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, air conditioning, and a coffee shop. I remember how the staff kindly helped me return my sim cards from my first stay. I truly recommend staying here. I'm coming back for another trip!

The delayed check-in process left a poor first impression!!! The noise issues from surrounding rooms were a constant annoyance during my stay!!! Not to mention the inconsistent room sizes, leading to disappointment when expecting something larger!!! There's also a lack of maintenance in various areas, which is concerning!!!

The multilingual staff really helped us plan our visits around the city, making everything easier with our teenage kids. We particularly loved the huge terrace with beautiful views that was perfect for coffee in the morning.

My wife says that the housekeeping could be better.

i had a great experience at grand hotel downtown. the location was super convenient, close to tram lines and the lovely vondelpark. my room was clean and spacious, and the responsive ac truly impressed me. the staff were unbelievably kind, adding a personal touch to my stay.
