I enjoyed a peaceful stay at Hotel Villa Paraiso. The large room was comfortable, though lacking proper hanging space for clothes, and WiFi was weak due to distance from reception. The lakeside restaurant served generous portions. however, I recommend ordering drinks early as the bar closed promptly after dinner. Great for a relaxing getaway but could improve staff availability and information on local attractions.

Staff was super nice, even hooked us up with transportation for just $30. Our triple room was roomy, with a nice sitting area where we enjoyed breakfast—ya know, nothing beats fresh fruit by the lake! Just a bit of a hike to the pool, though.

I spent one night here while exploring the local attractions, and what stood out the most was the excellent restaurant. The chicken skewers were among the best meals I've had, and the cocktails were a delightful treat. The location near the lake was beautiful, making my dining experience quite special.

Getting to and from the pool involves somewhat treacherous stairs that scream for more handrails!!! Toilets may require a tricky maneuver to flush!!! A lack of available information for trips or local attractions is disappointing!!!

Had a great group vacation here! We visited the lakeside restaurant and enjoyed some lovely meals. The staff even arranged transportation for our group. If you're bringing a car, don't forget to ask for their shuttle service—it's super convenient and affordable. Definitively recommend trying breakfast by the lake. the fresh fruit was a hit!

However, I think there could be more readily available information about local attractions, and maybe the check-in process needs a little more organization.

the wooden cabins are cozy with a unique verandah for evening drinks. air-conditioning works but doesn't cool quickly.

Beautiful property with clean restrooms and the food was amazing! Breakfast crepes and fresh fruit are a must try 🍉. The view of the lake while dining is spectacular 🌊. Super friendly staff made our group feel right at home!

I had such a fantastic time here! The restaurant's view was stunning, and the jalapeño steak was a delicious standout. Only downside was that the air conditioning took a while to cool. I'd definitely return!

This hotel was just a great fit for a weekend jaunt in Santo Domingo with decent value for money. The restaurant overlooking the lake was a highlight, especially enjoying breakfast with the playful White Throated Magpie Jays nearby. Don't forget to refill your drinking water at reception for free.
