This was truly our favorite hotel in Nicaragua!

Our xmas stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. the location was unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Lake Nicaragua. Secondly, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. And lastly, the food at the hotel's restaurant was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients sourced from their own farm.

There were a few aspects that were not as enjoyable. the air conditioning in our room did not work well, making it hot and humid.

The value for money at San Juan Ometepe was excellent - we got more than we expected! The room was spacious with a beautiful outdoor deck overlooking the beach and lake. The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay with incredible natural scenery. The staff treated us like family, they were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home.

The owner was helpful in organizing shuttles and they had scooters and motorcycles for rent.

Lastly, the breakfast spread was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit different tastes. my experience at this hotel was fantastic, and I highly recommend it for those seeking a peaceful and unforgettable getaway.

We enjoyed the tranquility of the peaceful setting, and being able to relax and disconnect from the outside world.

One thing to consider is that this place is quite isolated, so if you're looking to meet other people or try different restaurants, it might not be the best choice. the cost of travel to and from the hotel can be pricey, and there are no walking paths on the property, which would have been a nice addition.

The bungalow we stayed in had a lovely porch with chairs and a table, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake and the volcano. We woke up early to catch the sunrise and it was truly magical. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Daniel and Martin who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful and peaceful, and we loved lounging in the hammocks. The hotel also had amenities like air conditioning and a small refrigerator in the room, which was a nice touch. The restaurant served delicious meals at a reasonable price, and the property was well-maintained. Despite being a bit secluded, the staff arranged transportation for us and there was a swimming pool within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on Ometepe Island.
