My family and I had a pleasant stay at this family-run place just outside of Porto. the location was a bit far from the city center, but the local bus ride from Porto was convenient, taking about 30-40 minutes. We also found it worthwhile to spend a day in Matosinos, which was nearby. the house had a hostel-like atmosphere, which our son enjoyed as he made friends and played with other children on the trampoline. the room was clean, comfortable with a cozy bed, and towels, soap, and shampoo were provided. Parking our car in the driveway was a plus, and the basic facilities were available, including a garden at the back.

The interior of the house was well-maintained, cool, clean, and comfortable. My room was spacious and the bed surprisingly comfortable. I slept soundly and enjoyed some fun on the backyard trampoline. The kitchen was fully stocked with snacks and wines at affordable prices. And the complimentary tart was a nice touch. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the area and visiting Restaurante Paraíso nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable amenities, and welcoming hostess.

As a Camino Pilgrim, Casarao Paraiso was the perfect location for my stay along the coastal path. The owner, Manuela Alves, was welcoming and went above and beyond to assist guests. The house and shared kitchen were well-equipped and the complimentary tart added a nice touch. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds were well-maintained. The proximity to a nearby café made it easier to find after a long day of walking. a pleasant and convenient stay.

Parking was safe and off-road. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at the nearby restaurant. the owner, Manuela, was friendly and welcoming. we had a wonderful experience at Casarao Paraiso.

Great location for walking the Camino Portugues Coastal from Porto Cathedral, especially if you don't want to go all the way to Labruge.
