our recent stay in tromso was absolutely wonderful. celebrating our anniversary at clarion was a great choice. the friendly staff, clean rooms, and delicious food exceeded our expectations. the complimentary tea, coffee, and cake in the afternoon was a lovely touch. highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hotel in Tromso. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious and warm bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the TV was a nice touch. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. We were pleasantly surprised by the evening meal, which included three different salads, soup, and a warm main course, all of which were tasty and filling. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also had a jacuzzi and gym, both of which were clean and well-maintained. Despite a few minor drawbacks, this hotel provided a great experience overall. We would definitely recommend it to others.

The hotel is located in a prime location, right near the bustling harbor and a short walk from the bus stop to and from the airport. This makes it incredibly convenient for those arriving by air. Additionally, the hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot.

The rooftop hot tub was out of order during our stay. It would have been a lovely addition to the hotel, especially for those wanting to relax and enjoy the night sky, with the possibility of spotting the Northern Lights.

This hotel's location is amazing. It is right next to where most of the day trips take off and return from, as well as being close to the harbor and the main streets of town. The service provided here is great, especially the room service and housekeeping. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The hotel offers a variety of amenities such as shops and commercial services, laundry facilities, and even a welcome drink. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with amenities like ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and even a mini-bar. this hotel offers a great value for money and is a perfect choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The staff at reception were not very welcoming, except for one lady in the mornings who was lovely. However, this minor issue doesn't take away from all the other positive aspects of this hotel.

Great location near town centre and transportation. Afternoon waffles and coffee, free dinner, and breakfast were enjoyable. Spacious rooms with no noise. Good value for money.

Nothing that I didn't like

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront, and we had a beautiful view from our room. The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly, always answering our questions with a smile and fulfilling any requests we had. The service was top-notch, just what we expect for the money paid.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to various restaurants, bus stop, and with a beautiful view of the waterfront. the afternoon waffles and the dinner buffet were a nice touch and helped save money on dining out. Another great aspect was the comfortable beds that provided a good night's sleep.

The breakfast timings were not suitable for the activities we had planned, which affected our schedule. the breakfast options were average and the rooms were quite small, making it difficult to move around comfortably with a family.

Breakfast and dinner were included, and we even discovered Fika, which was a nice surprise. The staff was excellent, always ready to help and very efficient. The location is perfect for activities and excursions, with meeting points just a short walk away. The outdoor hot tub on the roof was a real treat, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. a fantastic experience.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The staff at the restaurant were attentive and friendly. The rooms were modern and comfortable, with a cool decor. The big bathrooms and good showers were a plus. a great experience!

We also appreciated the helpful advice from the friendly staff, who gave us recommendations on what to do in the city and even shared some insider tips on spotting the northern lights. we highly recommend this hotel as a perfect base for exploring Tromso.

Although there were a couple of less friendly front of house staff members, the majority of the staff were helpful and accommodating. We also suggest upgrading the in-room amenities such as kettles, hairdryers, and showerheads to enhance guests' comfort.
