Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

The location is perfect for catching the nearby ferry, and the breakfast is definitely a highlight with plenty of options. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the bathroom and the strange odor in the corridor. I recommend checking the parking in advance. it fills up fast.

I gotta say, the staff was super nice , especially this woman named Bodil. She made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in and even gave me a room upgrade that was much appreciated. The breakfast was really good , tons of options to pick from, which I loved every morning.

It wasn't exactly cheap , but the experience felt worth it overall.

what an absoluteley dismal stay. the shower was oddly tricky to get in and out of, not at all what one woudl expect. i was also very disappointed not to have a bath mat or washcloths, somehow that seemed like a given for a pretentious place like this. next time, a complimentary welcome gift woudl ve been nice considering my experience.

A good stopover hotel with an excellent location near the ferry and bustling city square, offering a solid breakfast buffet. The family room was comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff made our stay pleasant. Just a reminder to reserve parking in advance, as spots fill up quickly.

The excellent breakfast featured a wide variety of European dishes, catering to all tastes, which set a positive tone for my morning. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the main street and local attractions. However, the room I stayed in had poor lighting in the bathroom, and I noticed some visible damage on the door. Although parking was somewhat limited, there were several options nearby, which helped alleviate concerns.

the room was a bit dark. and the decorations were quite strange, like a mix of themes that don’t really fit. but the location was perfect! just steps away from shopping and great dining options. breakfast offered a fantastic variety too! loved the unique architecture of the building!

This place was just a good match for a temporary stay in Kristiansand with a good price-quality ratio. The staff were friendly and helped us find a replacement phone plug from the lost property box. Make sure to check the breakfast options early. they can run out of fruit quickly.
