The location of the hotel is perfect for families with children, as it is close to many attractions and activities. You can easily explore the beautiful lake framed by mountains, which provides a stunning view. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options. Additionally, the hotel has a cozy living room where you can relax and socialize with other guests.

The menu at the restaurant could have more variety besides the pancakes, although the quality of the food is satisfying.

The location of the hotel was between the majestic mountains and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It was also conveniently situated close to many local attractions, allowing us to easily explore the area. being near the beautiful lake added to the hotel's charm.

The shared bathroom and showers gave the hotel a youth hostel-like atmosphere, which was not what we were expecting for a couples' getaway.

Stunning fjord views, dramatic mountains, and gushing streams around the campsite create a breathtaking atmosphere. Convenient location near the nature center and restaurant, just a short walk away. Lovely and comfortable living room decor with a plush Louis XIV style. Large, cozy, and warm rooms provide a true haven in winter.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Eidfjord. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel very welcome. Secondly, the room I stayed in had a breathtaking view of the fjord from the balcony. I couldn't get enough of the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel. Lastly, the breakfast included some of the best pancakes I've ever had. They were delicious and made for a great start to my day of exploring the Hardanger nature center and hiking the Voringfoss trail.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were great.

Our stay at this unique bed & breakfast was a memorable experience. The particular decorations and Victorian theme added a quirky charm to the place. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The assistance from the management in planning our activities in the area was excellent. Despite the shared bathrooms, they were clean and well-maintained.

The nearby camping lodge turned out to be cozy and offered stunning views of the sunset over the mountains. The peaceful and quiet town of Eidfjord was a short drive away, and we were able to explore attractions like Voringfossen and Hardangervidda National Park.

Our Christmas stay was a great experience. the hotel had a cozy environment and provided exceptional mountain views from our room. the freshly baked bread and crepes served at breakfast were mouthwatering. the walk along the fjord was also worth it.

The limited menu offered at the hotel's restaurant was not so appealing, with only options for pancakes and meatballs. We had to head to the neighboring town to enjoy a more satisfying dinner, but it wasn't too much of a hassle.

Stayed at a charming historic house in a remote, undiscovered gem. Location was amazing with stunning views. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delightful with freshly baked bread and crepes. Friendly staff and good wifi connection. Great for exploring the surrounding area, including hiking and waterfalls. Highly recommend Room 8 with its comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and mountain views.

We stumbled upon Eidfjord Gjestgiveri by chance as a halfway point in our drive, but it turned out to be a remote undiscovered gem. The location was breathtaking, with dramatic mountain views and a fjord lake right across the guesthouse. The proximity to the nature center and restaurant was another plus, and we enjoyed the delicious fish soup there. The guesthouse had a lovely living room with comfortable Louis the XIV plush décor, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the breakfast with freshly baked bread and crepes was just delightful. The staff were accommodating and the hotel had beautiful decorations.
