The location of this hotel is perfect, just off of Karl Johans Gate, making it very convenient for exploring the city. There are also two little grocery shops across the road if you need anything. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout our stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were great - we particularly loved the warm beds and heated floors in the bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast spread was plentiful and we enjoyed being able to make our own juice with a variety of fresh ingredients.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, making it easy to explore all the attractions. It's also within walking distance from the railway station and conveniently situated on the 30 bus route, which takes you directly to the Bygdøy museums. The room had a tea/coffee maker, perfect for warming up after a long, cold day. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious, despite the limited space for food display.

One downside is that there were no soft-white curtains in the room, only thick, black ones that blocked out all daylight and any chance of privacy during the day.

The room was decent, although a bit old, but it had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I had an amazing stay at a hotel in a great location, close to the old town, the opera house, the central station, and the palace. the staff at the front desk were lovely and very helpful, providing suggestions of things to do in the city. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and the room was spacious and comfortable. the under floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch.

I stayed at First Hotel for a week for a business trip. It was so convenient being located in the center of the city. I didn't need to use public transportation as everything I needed was within walking distance. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and even helped me scan and print some important documents. The included breakfast was delicious and a great value for the price.
