Spent a lovely Easter weekend here and couldn't have been happier with the location - right in the heart of the town, everything we needed was just a stone's throw away. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help us with anything we needed during our stay. The food was definitely a highlight - a great mix of traditional local cuisine and modern international dishes. We especially loved the complimentary breakfast, which had a good selection of fresh bread, pastries, and fruits to choose from.

Our room was a bit on the small side and lacked a good amount of storage space. The bathroom was also quite outdated and we found the shower to be a bit difficult to use, with a weak water pressure.

The historic charm and scenic location of this hotel really stood out during our stay. We loved the old, historic part of the hotel and the stunning views it offered. Even though the rooms were on the smaller side, they were clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, catering to a wide selection of tastes. We particularly enjoyed the delicious food at Restaurant Ellen. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for its unique character and warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel by the river. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the garden, river, and mountains. The service-minded staff went above and beyond, ensuring that every request was met with a smile. We were even pleasantly surprised when a waiter offered to make a glass of lemonade for my husband, despite it not being on the menu. The outside area was inviting, with a cozy fireplace for rainy days, and a lovely terrace to enjoy the view.

We initially had a room on the main street, which was a bit noisy due to traffic. However, the hotel promptly addressed this issue and offered us a superior room on the other side of the hotel, which had a gorgeous view of the river and was much quieter.

This hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the town center, where you can explore a historic area and take in the charming surroundings. The hotel's location by the river creates a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine in the garden or at the outside bar. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the surrounding area. The staff provide excellent service and the breakfast is delicious, offering a wide range of options to start your day off right.

The restaurant can be crowded at times and the buffet finishes too early, which can feel rushed.
