Affordable and delicious food. the hotel offers typical Norwegian dishes in their hot/cold buffet, which was both abundant and tasty. breakfast was also of great quality. the hotel's public areas are large and interesting, including photos showcasing the history of the hotel as a way-station. the hotel's location is convenient, close to the Stryn summer-ski centre and relatively close to Geiranger.

Lack of privacy and some cleanliness issues. Housekeeping opened our door in the morning without knocking or apologizing while we were still sleeping.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful valley with breathtaking views all around. We enjoyed the convenience of having the reception area right next to us, and it was great to be so close to the Stryn summer-ski centre and the National Park. We got great value for our money at Grotli Hoyfjellshotell. The room was cozy and traditional, and the view from the hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff at the reception were very hospitable and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
