We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities. The rooms were newly renovated and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a long day of skiing. The hotel also had a restaurant, which was very convenient for us to grab dinner without having to go far.

This hotel in the middle of nowhere is a hidden gem. The staff are extremely friendly and the hotel has a homely and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is superb, offering a wide variety of delicious options including local produce. The location is perfect for cross-country skiers, not far from the Trysil slopes and close to the center.

Nothing to fault at this hotel. It's hard to find any flaws.

I had a wonderful stay at Kjolen Hotel. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning streams, mountains, and lush greenery. The rooms were immaculate and well-maintained. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with directions into the city. Parking was a breeze, making it convenient for us. I would highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good hospitality.

Absolutely stunning location, surrounded by lush greenery, streams, and mountains. the rooms were squeaky clean and very well-maintained. the staff was extremely hospitable and went out of their way to give us directions to the nearby city. Parking was no hassle at all.

The breakfast options for vegetarians and vegans could've been better. We were expecting more variety and choice.

It was located just 15 minutes by car from the slopes, allowing us to save money on ski-in ski-out options. The breakfast was superb, with a varied selection of food including porridge, scrambled eggs, and duck eggs. The staff were friendly and provided helpful information about the area. We also enjoyed the warm and powerful shower, ensuring we had plenty of hot water. The hotel's location was convenient, with a nearby Co Op food store for supplies.
