had a lovely evening stroll in boscastle, riverside exceeded all expectations. helpful staff, tasty vegetarian breakfast, and a beautiful view of the river from my room. perfect place to relax with evening drinks on the terrace.

Best aspects of our New Year stay: The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced, but the evening meal was absolutely lovely! We enjoyed a delicious dinner with plenty of options to choose from. The staff at the restaurant were superb and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel was also a major plus. We were right in the heart of the village, surrounded by the charm and beauty of the area. The room itself was clean, cozy, and had a calming view of the river outside.

Worst aspects of our New Year stay: Honestly, we couldn't think of anything negative about our experience. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, our schedule didn't allow for it.

We had a fabulous stay at this luxury hotel. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the village, next to the picturesque river. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a view overlooking the babbling brook outside our window. The hotel staff were exceptional, always friendly, helpful, and attentive. The facilities were top-notch, including a dining restaurant, a bar/lounge area, and a beautiful terrace where we could relax and enjoy the stunning views. The room amenities were excellent too, with everything we needed, such as a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free toiletries. we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to all.

The hotel is located in the centre of Boscastle, by the harbour, offering a picturesque view. The room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to relax and fall asleep to the sound of the river flowing. The staff was delightful, offering helpful and friendly service. The breakfasts were superb, with a variety of options to choose from.

While the room and service were great, I felt that more attention could have been given to accommodating dietary restrictions.

I recently stayed at The Riverside in Boscastle for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating my early arrival due to illness and assisting with my luggage. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, so much so that my partner and I dined there three nights in a row. Our room, in particular Room 2, was a superior double with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. The entire hotel was clean and tidy, with a refreshing atmosphere. The location was excellent, with fabulous views of the river and the bridge. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with fast wifi. it was a fabulous stay and I didn't want to leave. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay superb.

We arrived in Boscastle early, and to our surprise, the hotel was still closed. However, the friendly waiter allowed us in and served us a delicious breakfast. The bigger breakfast option was huge, with chips included - a delightful surprise! The food was always top-notch during our previous visits too. We were pleased with the spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, and the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal. The hotel's central location in Boscastle was a huge plus, perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic breakfast, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the village and close to scenic walking areas. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others.

On our family holiday in the area, we stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away from the madding crowd. Despite the rain, we took a quick walk and on the way back decided to have lunch at this charming hotel. Our room was comfortable and the spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The friendly staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included smoked haddock, and the stunning views from our room added to the overall experience. It was a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The staff were fantastic throughout the whole stay. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with a drink and made us feel right at home. The room amenities, including a heating system and terrace, were top-notch. The hotel provided free toiletries, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV, ensuring all our needs were met. The dining experience was exceptional. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were still very professional and friendly. They looked after us very well and even kindly emailed me a copy of a recipe from one of the delicious meals we enjoyed. the service at this place was impeccable.
