We had an amazing stay at MML. The atmosphere was perfect for young families like us. The big guest kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The dorm and main eating area were comfortable, and the included breakfast buffet was delicious. We also enjoyed the sauna after a day of skiing , and the separate room for ski and boot storage was very convenient. it was a great experience.

Lovely place with beautiful views and a cozy atmosphere. the owner was friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean and spacious, with a cool hostel feel but with hotel standard facilities. the location was perfect, close to nature and with a supermarket and gas station nearby. the well-equipped kitchen made it easy to make our own dinner, but there were also options to have dinner from the lodge or at nearby restaurants. the staff was always around to provide information and assistance, and the communal lounge had a social setting with stunning views. the sauna added an extra relaxing element to our stay.

Would have liked some fruit at breakfast.

Our stay at Magic Mountain Lodge was simply magical. The spacious room had a stunning fjord view, making for a truly breathtaking experience. Henrika and Partik, the hosts, were warm and welcoming, making us feel like old friends. The Xmas Eve dinner was delightful, and the well-equipped kitchen was a bonus for those who enjoy cooking. The location, right by the ferry to Olderfjord and hiking routes, couldn't have been more perfect. Despite a few minor drawbacks with moisture in the shower and a loud toilet, the overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Lyngseidet.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the fjord. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with excellent advice on places to visit in the surrounding area. We loved having access to a well, equipped communal kitchen, where we could prepare our own meals. the location of the hotel was also fantastic, situated in a magical small town with stunning snow, capped mountains all around.

The heating in our room was impossible to turn off, and we found it a bit too warm at times. Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the hotel had a bit of a hostel feel, which may not be everyone's preference.

As a solo traveler, I loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff at Magic Mountain Lodge in Lyngen. The rooms were simple but spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view over the fjord was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect as a base for hunting the Northern Lights, and if they were strong, you could even see them from the balcony. Getting to the lodge was easy, whether driving from Tromso or taking the bus.

Felt totally safe and had no reason to complain.

The hosts, Henrika and Patrick, were very helpful and friendly. Henrika went above and beyond to assist me in finding alternative transportation when there was an avalanche. The view from the room and common area was magnificent. The meals were delicious and home-cooked using local ingredients. The lodge had a cozy atmosphere and comfortable beds. The hosts were attentive and gave great tips for exploring the surrounding nature.
