During my recent stay at a charming hotel in Hoyheimsvik, I had the pleasure of experiencing the most stunning view of the fjord. The location was truly breathtaking, and I couldn't get enough of the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and provided excellent recommendations for activities and hikes. I felt truly immersed in the beauty of Norway.

Although some guests mentioned small beds and limited comfort, I found my room to be cozy and inviting, perfect for a romantic getaway. The traditional Norwegian style added a touch of romance, and everything was impeccably clean.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning. You can relax in the garden with a drink and enjoy the breathtaking views of the fjord and the Nigardsbreen glacier. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing great suggestions for hikes in the area. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities and some even have balconies overlooking the fjord.

No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

Nestled in a beautiful garden with breathtaking fjord views, Nes Gard Hoyheimsvik offers a serene atmosphere where families can relax and unwind. Guests can soak up the sun while sipping their favorite drinks, take in the majestic sight of a waterfall beside a charming white wooden church, and embark on exciting hikes, including the Nigardsbreen glacier trek. The well-appointed rooms, complete with fully equipped kitchens and terraces, provide a comfortable and convenient stay. The friendly and attentive staff ensure exceptional service, and the delicious breakfast fuels guests for their adventures.

Some guests reported a lack of social interaction during the evening meals, with fellow diners frequently engrossed in their mobile devices.

Incredible 360* fjord views. Prompt breakfast delivery to room included in price. Sauna, hot tub, and wine bar available. Dietary requirements well-accommodated with exceptional food. Spectacular hikes nearby and glacier walk option. Spotlessly clean rooms with reliable wifi.

Friendly, family-run with lovely view. Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillow. Gorgeous property on the fjord. Excellent 3-course dinner with suggested wine pairing. Intimate and private dining experience. Unique and historical decor.

Nothing negative to say.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our city trip, being close to multiple national tourist routes and attractions. We even had a view of a stunning waterfall from our room. the decoration of the hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spotlessly clean. We loved the fact that the hotel offered a three-course chef's dinner that was absolutely amazing. the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making our stay that much more enjoyable.

One of the aspects we didn't particularly enjoy was the mandatory evening meal served to all guests together. Although the food was good, we found it difficult to connect with other guests who seemed to be more preoccupied with their phones than socializing.

Our second stay at this B&B was just as pleasant as the first. the staff were fantastic and accommodated our last-minute change of plans by allowing us to check out the night before and even providing us with breakfast to go. the location is perfect, with easy access to multiple National Tourist Routes and the stunning Urnes Stave Church. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
