Warm welcome from friendly staff, but parking fees are high. Breakfast is fantastic!

breakfast was a total chaos, absolutley unorganized. the 'superior king room' looked more like a budget motel than a luxurious stay. and the pool was closed with no immediate compensation or apologies given, how rude. i almost wrote a nice review, but just couldn’t. i expect a better experience, at least a cordial upgrade for my troubles.

The breathtaking views from my room were a highlight, and the gourmet breakfast showcased local flavors beautifully. However, navigating to my room felt unnecessarily complicated during my stay.

Excellent accessibility to public transport.

The pool facilities were extremely disappointing. I was shocked to be charged a hefty fee for average amenities that should be complimentary for guests who have already paid a premium rate. Additionally, the hotel WiFi was frustratingly weak, often dropping my connection and forcing me to find other areas to get online. It felt like I was overpaying for subpar service and facilities.

The hotel offers stunning views of Oslo, particularly during sunrise and sunset. While the breakfast spread is impressive, some warm items were disappointingly cold. The rooms are clean but could use some modern updates. A safety concern arose during a fire alarm, which was not very audible. Still, the stay was generally pleasant, especially with easy access to hiking trails and the ski museum.

I really loved my stay as the breakfast was fantastic and the hotel is a short walk to the Holmenkollen Ski Museum and beautiful hiking paths, making it perfect for a weekend city stroll and a bit of nature exploration. I felt perfectly relaxed amid the beautiful views of Oslo and the surrounding nature.

A Scenic Escape with Room for Improvement

I enjoyed a lovely stay with breathtaking views from my room. The breakfasts offered an impressive variety, fueling our mornings perfectly. However, the restaurant staff could improve their hospitality. For access to the city, grab an Oslo Pass for easy transport. Parking is pricey, so plan accordingly!

The gym was an absolute dream! Plus, the spacious room had stunning city views. Definitely enjoyed the breakfast spread too!

staying at scandic was a treat! the spa area was fantastic with a well-equipped gym, and the indoor pool was refreshing. the breakfast had a delicious variety, exceeding all my expectations. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the ski museum and beautiful trails for exploration.

i wish the coffee and milk in the room had been replenished daily.

The views are absolutely stunning! 🌄 Breakfast had a vast array of options including fresh fish and vegan choices. The housekeeping staff was thoughtful and very diligent. Very close to beautiful skiing and hiking trails!

Finding my room was like a treasure hunt without a map, and don’t get me started on the high-speed chase for coffee in the morning—you’d think they were running a marathon!

Would be happy to recommend for a weekend respite

Stunning view, comfortable room, with breathtaking scenery visible from almost anywhere in the hotel and a delightful breakfast buffet that offered a wide variety of items including fresh bread and yummy toppings for yogurt to fuel our explorations of the nearby ski jump and trails.
