the rooms were quiet, clean, and well laid out, with a well-lit bathroom including a magnifying mirror. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with superb breakfast options served at convenient hours. The short stroll to Stavanger city centre allowed for peace and quiet, and the small roof terrace provided beautiful city views.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the center of town and the beautiful port that takes ferries to the fjord. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing good advice about where to go. The breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options, and the restaurant is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal with a good choice of food.

The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. the location was convenient as it was close to the city center and the bus stops. Another advantage was the spacious room with a sofa, which was perfect for a group of friends.

The room was in dire need of renovation. the lighting was dim, and there were some maintenance issues.

We had a surprising city break with overnight stay at Scandic and we were impressed by the delicious food served in the Christmas decorated lobby area next to a cozy fireplace. The room was unexpectedly big with a very comfortable bed and amazing views of the night city. The bathroom was of high standard and impeccably clean. The excellent breakfast had a wide variety of food, including allergy-friendly options, and the staff was always helpful and smiling.
