Thon Hotel Cecil was great value for money, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped, luxurious room. The hotel's location was perfect, within easy reach of Oslo City centre and the harbour area. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and provided valuable assistance with parking.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved with more variety in terms of options.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. The breakfast is outstanding, offering a wide variety of homemade options and catering to those with allergies.

The air conditioning in the rooms is set to a specific temperature, which may not be suitable for those who prefer a cooler room.

We were extremely happy with our stay here. The location is excellent, close to both the museums and train station, making it easy to get around this area. The staff at reception were extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities and amenities in the rooms were exceptional, with everything from tea and coffee facilities to ironing facilities and free toiletries. The location of this hotel was fantastic, with everything very close by. It was only a short 2-stop ride to the airport, and there was a Metro station nearby. Plus, there was a fantastic local fish restaurant right next door.

The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing breakfast experience.

We had a lovely romantic getaway and enjoyed the complimentary dinner and breakfast. the hotel was situated in a perfect location close to all the attractions and shops. the room was beautiful and we loved the view of the city from our window.

The check-in process was quite slow and the staff were not very friendly. the noise level from the live music pub below our room was quite disturbing and made it difficult to sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in the heart of the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. One day, I decided to try their famous waffles for breakfast, and let me tell you, they were absolutely fantastic! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were simply delicious. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of choices, and the staff made sure everything was fresh and tasty. The location of the hotel was also perfect, close to the train station and harbor. The only downside was that the room was a bit small, but considering the affordable price, it was definitely worth it. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

The lack of natural light in our room was a bit disappointing. We hadn't realized that the majority of the rooms faced an enclosed atrium, which gave the hotel a somewhat institutional feel.
