The hotel had a grand reception area with pleasant staff. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of hot and cold options.

Despite the positives, the hotel was old and rundown. the fittings were deteriorating and the lift was shaky.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a better room than initially booked, which was a lovely touch. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city center, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the Telemark canal from our room.
