The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, as it is situated right next to the train station, only a 4-minute walk from Myrdal. This makes it easily accessible for travelers arriving by train and eliminates the hassle of having to travel long distances. Additionally, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the surrounding nature, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the beauty of the landscape. The rooms are comfortable, with clean bathrooms and prompt service. The breakfast provided is tasty and offers a variety of options to satisfy different tastes.

The beds in the rooms are quite basic and on the smaller side. While they are not uncomfortable, they may not provide the same level of luxury as some guests might expect.

The shower leaked, and there were no extra pillows or blankets. Obtaining a hairdryer from the reception was a nuisance.

We absolutely loved our recent stay at a charming mountain hotel. The cozy interior and delicious waffles and coffee in the afternoon made us feel right at home. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the mountains while enjoying a glass of wine or beer in the sun. We also appreciated the peace and quiet, with the hiking trails not crowded and ample space to relax and soak in the marvelous views. The helpful staff were always ready with a smile and provided outstanding dinners with a variety of delicious options to choose from. we highly recommend this hotel for a perfect family getaway in the middle of nowhere with amazing surroundings.
