The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the historic district, making it easy to explore the charming town of Roros. It is also very close to a prominent landmark, allowing for easy access to the local attractions. The rooms are cozy with wooden floors and paneling, giving them a quintessentially Norwegian feel. The bathrooms are spacious, with plenty of counter space, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering a variety of delicious options.

Some of the furniture in the rooms does not match and there is no chair to sit at the desk, which can be slightly inconvenient.

Stayed in a charming old-world hotel with lovely modern amenities. Got a comfy and cosy room with a beautifully designed interior. Perfectly located in the heart of the historic city, a short walk from the must-visit locations. the staff was welcoming and friendly. the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from.

The furniture seemed a bit outdated in some areas of the hotel. the double bed turned out to be twin beds pushed together, which wasn't bad enough to ruin our stay but still notable.

This hotel in a quaint historic district offers incredible value for money. The rooms, with their own kitchen and comfortable beds, have a charming Norwegian wooden hut vibe. The staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the historic old wooden building I stayed in at Vertshuset. The room was large and well-restored, with a kitchenette that added convenience to my stay. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, and the bar had an excellent selection of beer. I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel to others.
