My recent stay at Abisko Lodge was fantastic. The location was perfect, with supermarkets and ski hire shops just a short walk away. The room was a cozy unit type with good heating, making it comfortable after a long day on the slopes. The lodge also provided a simple breakfast of toast and cereal, which was a nice touch. But what really stood out was the exceptional service from the owners. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, offering helpful advice and assisting us with any requests. Their friendly and accommodating attitude made us feel welcome and well taken care of. I definitely recommend this lodge for a great stay in Methven.

While the kitchenette in the room was convenient, it would have been better to have a hot plate for cooking. The lack of utensils was also a slight inconvenience, but thankfully the guest kitchen in the campground area had hot plates that we could use.

Its prime location in the main street of Methven means that everything is within a short 1-2 minute walk, from local cafes and pubs to supermarkets and ski hire shops. The convenience of having all amenities at your doorstep is unparalleled.

All was well, no improvements needed.

Great location! We were able to walk to all the restaurants in the area. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a lovely view of the town from our window. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always with a smile on their faces. We appreciated the shuttle service to the ski slopes, which was a huge time-saver.

The room was a bit noisy, especially at night. We could hear everything going on in the hallway and outside.
