Gorgeous setting and the restaurant food was divine. I felt like royalty!

It was so convenient not having any cooking facilities in the room, and who needs a working spa bath anyway? So overrated!

The room was comfortable with a beautiful view, excellent dinner, helpful staff, great location, spa bath.

My recent stay at Alpine Lodge was such a delight! The spacious room offered a stunning view of the surrounding area, and I loved having the extra chairs and a refrigerator in the room. The location was perfect for exploring and hiking, and being able to make coffee in the room was a great added convenience. The apartment had a lot of character and the kitchen facility was well-equipped. The access to the Jacuzzi was a treat, with a beautiful view of the bush and hills. The food and service in the restaurant were exceptional, making every meal a delightful experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend Alpine Lodge for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The location was absolutely AMAZING with breathtaking surroundings and a stunning view of the night and morning sky. The staff at reception and housekeeping were beyond fabulous, providing excellent service. The restaurant at Alpine Lodge was the highlight, offering great food and a first-class beer and wine selection. Our room was comfortable and had both indoor and outdoor sitting areas with a beautiful outlook. The native bush and stream outside our window added to the charm.

It was a great place to spend Christmas. the shower pressure and heat were fantastic, and the bar and restaurant on site offered delicious meals made from top ingredients. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect as it was only a short walk away from a beautiful lake where I could enjoy boating, fishing, and taking stunning pictures.

The rooms were in serious need of a renovation as they were old and tired. the lack of natural light and ineffective heating made the rooms feel cold and dark.

Spacious family unit and convenient location. Restaurant served amazing food, accommodating dietary needs. Comfy armchairs and warm bedding in room. Light and airy with extra window. Children enjoyed trampoline and ducks. Food beautifully presented with top-notch service. Peaceful environment with petrol station nearby. Ideal for Wairarapa and Picton ferry travelers.

I had an incredible stay at this alpine lodge. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were always ready for a chat and provided attentive service. The cleanliness of the dining areas was impressive. The lodge had plenty of space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the location was beautiful, nestled in the mountains. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff ensured that there was plenty of food available throughout the day. the hotel facilities were top-notch, from the warm reception to the convenient parking.

We had a fantastic stay at a great location, just an hour from home. the Alpine Lodge in Saint Arnaud offered easy parking and our ground floor room had a lovely outside area with table and chairs. the staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces. We enjoyed the relaxing bar and its fantastic outside seating. the restaurant provided a positive dining experience, with excellent wait staff, a comfortable atmosphere, and a table with a lovely view. the meal was delicious and reasonably priced. We also loved the easy access to the lake and lakeside walks.

The location of the lodge was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying outdoor activities. We were able to easily access the main lodge without getting wet, which was a nice touch. The building itself was attractive and had a cozy, rustic charm. the 2 bedroom unit we stayed in was spacious and had great cooking facilities for breakfast, which was very convenient.

The restaurant had unpleasant ingredients in the meals and the limited menu didn't include some favorites like steak. It was also odd that there was no alcohol service available, so we couldn't enjoy a drink with our meal.
