My stay at Altamont Lodge was definitely worth the money. The room was cozy with a comfortable queen bed, and I loved the functional setup with hangers, mirror, and reading lights. The location was easy to find with a noticeable sign, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use a little more variety.

Great communal areas & kitchen, perfect for socializing. Loved the garden and BBQ area for relaxing. Rooms were clean and had good storage space.

Rooms were too small for 3 people, not enough room for luggage. Walls were thin, could hear noise from neighboring rooms.

The hotel was ideally located, close to all the action in town but in a peaceful spot with well-cared-for gardens. We enjoyed being in a lovely grassed area, perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. Although not close to shops if walking, it was only a few minutes by car, making it convenient for any necessary errands.

The kitchen facilities were slightly congested, which made it a bit challenging to navigate during peak times.

We had a fantastic stay at Altamont Lodge! The private small room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the opportunity to socialize with other guests in the shared bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was impressively equipped, surpassing even my own. The well-groomed garden was a delightful place to relax, and the staff were marvelous, always there for a quick chat and eager to please. We especially enjoyed the spa pool and the large communal kitchen. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Additionally, the hotel had a cozy living room with a fireplace, which was a great place to mingle with other guests. our stay here was wonderful and we would highly recommend it to our friends.

I recently stayed at a lodge in Wanaka and my experience was fantastic. The lodge had excellent amenities including a large communal kitchen, laundry room, and even a hot tub. The outdoor space was spacious and had a BBQ for guests to use. The parking was plentiful, which was a bonus. The hot showers were clean and provided plenty of hot water. The double room I stayed in was comfortable and had a shared bathroom with only one other room. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this lodge for its great value and convenient location.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a super friendly and accommodating lodge. Upon arrival, we were given a tour and instantly felt welcomed. The accommodation itself was absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained and clean rooms. The expansive kitchen had plenty of storage and cooking facilities, making it a breeze to prepare meals. The common areas were warm and comfortable, perfect for socializing, and the bathrooms were consistently clean. The lodge also offered a free spa facility, which was a lovely added bonus. We were impressed by the nice decor and the availability of parking. In addition, there were fun games and music in the common area, creating a lively atmosphere. The abundance of spare towels and face cloths was a thoughtful touch. This was our second time staying at this lodge, and we were once again impressed by the excellent kitchen facilities and the clean and spacious rooms. The fast WiFi was also a definite plus.

We particularly enjoyed the clean kitchen, which had modern appliances and complimentary coffee and tea. the location was convenient, with easy access to scenic spots. We also appreciated the comfortable beds.

Thin walls made the rooms noisy and we could hear conversations and movements from other rooms. This can be bothersome, especially if you are looking for a more peaceful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at a spotlessly clean and welcoming lodge. Lynn made us feel right at home and the facilities were superb. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped, the living and dining areas were spacious and comfortable, and the garden area was lovely. The cozy and comfortable room made for a great night's sleep.
