the room at amber lodge was tidy and functional - with a comfy bed and good shower pressure. located just a quick walk from shops and restaurants - it's uphill - so you get a great view over town and mountains. the staff were extra friendly and got me checked in early.

The location of this hotel was absolutely fabulous. We didn't have to worry about parking, as everything was within walking distance. The Queenstown central shops, activities, art galleries, and lake front were all easily accessible. It was great to be able to walk to all the Queenstown attractions without any hassle. The rooms were clean and remarkably quiet, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. The staff provided good service and the basic amenities were all there. Despite the small size of the rooms, they had everything we needed. The hotel was warm and cozy, and the onsite parking was convenient. The pictures on the website accurately represented what we found when we arrived.

There were a few noisy guests during our stay, but overall, all was well.

I stayed in a cozy room with a lovely afternoon sun streaming in, making up for the temporary lack of view. The location couldn't have been better, as I could easily walk to the town center, marina, and gondalas. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing us to increase our stay. The room was spotless, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels. it was a wonderful experience.

The noise from being close to the road.

The location of the hotel was superb as it was very close to the city center and public transport. the staff was helpful and friendly too. we enjoyed the spaciousness of our room and the kitchen facilities on offer.

The laundry service was expensive and the view from our room was not impressive. the exterior of the hotel could have been better maintained and the reception area was a bit disorganized.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the town center. You don't have to worry about walking long distances or spending a lot on taxi fares. The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and daily room service to ensure you have fresh towels and a made bed. Additionally, the staff was helpful and accommodating, allowing for late check-in and extending our stay without any hassle.

The bathroom could use some improvements, as there were a few signs of mold in the shower corners and the towels had stains on them.

The location of our accommodation is perfect for exploring the city. We are just a short walk away from the shopping centre, where we can find all the attractions and restaurants. It feels safe to walk around even at night, which is important for me as a lone woman. Plus, I am thrilled to be within close proximity to Fergburger, a famous local eatery. The room is spacious enough with a comfortable single bed and a clean bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. the kitchenette comes in handy for quick meals or snacks.

There is some construction happening nearby, which can be slightly noisy at times.

Great location, walking distance to lake and town center. Very clean and comfy bed. Apartment had a nice view of the lake through a large window. Kitchen with stovetop and microwave, and a dining table and chairs. Good shower with step-in, no water on the bathroom floor. a great place for a long holiday.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The value for money was incredible, with prices that were very reasonable for the quality of stay. The attention to detail was impressive, from the modern and clean rooms with a stunning mountain view to the basic amenities that were all provided. The staff went above and beyond, making sure that our needs were met and even adding a personal touch by putting some milk in the fridge for us. The location was ideal, right on the footpath and close to all the tourist attractions. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast, it was delicious and satisfying.
