Great location with easy access to Abel Tasman, Pohara beaches, Farewell Spit, and Whirinaki beach. Lovely outdoor space and relaxing pool. Friendly and helpful family-run establishment. Comfortable rooms with extra touches like towels for the pool and cold water in the fridge. Enjoyed the variety of shops in the vibrant town.

We had a wonderful weekend in a small town surrounded by nature. The accommodation we chose was very cozy and it had 3 comfortable chairs where we could rest and enjoy the views. The owner seemed to care about the details, such as providing clean towels for the pool and other extras like washing powder and pegs. We could easily walk to town, where we found a variety of stores including a big supermarket. We also had access to SKY TV and good wifi.

One of the beds was too close to the other, which was not very comfortable for the non-snorer. some of the local shops were closed due to the long weekend, reducing our options for entertainment.

Anatoki Lodge Motel in Takaka is fantastic! Rural paradise, peaceful atmosphere. Abel Tasman, Pohara, Whirinaki beach. Lovely outdoor space, relaxing pool. Friendly, helpful family-run motel. Excellent stay, great extras provided. Will definitely recommend and be back.

I recently stayed at a motel in the South Island and it was a fantastic experience. the location was perfect as it was very close to the town centre and all the shops and restaurants. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, with a lovely bathroom. The owner of the motel was also very pleasant and took pride in maintaining the facilities. there were great facilities such as a pool and even extras like towels and washing powder. it was a wonderful stay.

That some of the local shops were closed due to it being a long weekend.
