I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, the experience was amazing. The location was great, especially the fire pit where we met another couple and got chatting whilst roasting marshmallows. The views across the neighboring farms were breathtaking and the tranquility was just what I needed to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hut I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and all the amenities I needed. The shared kitchen was well stocked and the homemade bread and jams were delicious. The hosts were wonderful and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay. I had a fantastic time and I will definitely be recommending this place to others.

Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and lounge, close to Rabbit Island beach, peaceful atmosphere, stunning sunset and starry sky.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was very close to Rabbit Island beach. We could easily reach the beach by bike or car. Being close to nature and the ocean was definitely a plus point for us. The room was neat and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. The host was friendly and accommodating. the outdoor bath was a unique feature that added to our relaxation.

That there was no air conditioning in the huts, which made them quite warm. Although there was a ceiling fan, having air conditioning would have made a big difference in terms of comfort.

Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts provided a peaceful and beautifully tasteful stay. The personal welcome note on the blackboard and the boardwalk leading to our hut made us feel instantly at home. Each hut was thoughtfully decorated with individual color schemes, and the outdoor chairs and bedspreads added a nice touch. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, from cookbooks to marshmallows for a cozy fire. The lounge with its "honesty shop" was a fantastic idea, and we loved the stocked fridges of adult refreshments and ice cream. We enjoyed reading magazines, playing board games, and watching the Pukeko birds while having breakfast. Bathing under the stars and showering under the sun were unforgettable experiences. The high-quality soap products in both the outdoor and communal bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. this stay at Appleby House & Rabbit Island Huts exceeded our expectations and will be cherished forever.

Great views and cozy ambiance! the location was perfect, close to the city and surrounded by amazing landscapes. the huts offered a unique experience, combining modernity with the natural environment. the communal kitchen was well-stocked and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch.

Sadly, our Christmas stay was underwhelming. the huts were significantly colder than expected, with only a ceiling fan provided, making it quite uncomfortable during the colder nights.
