We had a superb stay at a spacious and clean one bedroom unit. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was convenient, just a short stroll to the lakefront and town. Mel and Mark, the hosts, were wonderful. we highly recommend this place.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel on the edge of a stunning lake, nestled in a peaceful area. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with the hotel situated opposite a national park, offering picturesque views. The service at this place was exceptional, with the friendly staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The manager was especially welcoming and made me feel like part of their family. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities such as a comfortable bed, a large shower stall, and ample space to relax. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which allowed me to stay connected during my stay. The hotel even had a lovely garden area with garden furniture, where I could unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.

Great location - close to town centre, shops, restaurants and Lake Manapouri station for Doubtful Sound trips. Super helpful and friendly owner with excellent local knowledge. Quiet, spacious and warm room with comfy bed, free wifi, flatscreen TV. Separate toilet and heater in bathroom. Welcome milk and yellow book with menu options. Ample parking space.

Location was good for visiting the nearby attractions. the owner was very friendly and helpful. He gave us useful information about the area and interesting spots to take photos.

The options for dining and entertainment were limited in the area. the noise level from outside was quite noticeable and at times disruptive.

The motel is conveniently located near the city centre, making it easy to explore the town and enjoy the local attractions. Additionally, its proximity to the lake allows for pleasant walks along the lakeside, providing a tranquil atmosphere.

The lack of a power plug near the bed in one of the rooms can be inconvenient, especially for those who require access to power for electric blankets or charging devices.

We recently stayed at a top-notch motel in Te Anau. Our large bedroom with en suite bathroom was impeccably presented with modern furnishings and a super comfy bed. the motel itself was well maintained, with beautiful roses and flowerbeds, and the friendly owner ensured our needs were met. We loved being just a short walk from the lakefront and a leisurely stroll from the town center. This was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Milford Sound and surrounding areas. After long days out, it was a quiet and welcoming place to relax. the personal service provided by our host was a standout feature.

We had a fantastic time staying at this motel in Te Anau. Rennie, the owner, went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. He recommended a brilliant farm tour, helped us book activities, and suggested great places to eat. The facilities were superb and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the center of town. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a lovely new bathroom. The owners, Mel and Mark, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!
