We had a wonderful Christmas stay at a boutique motel in the Bay of Islands. The room was beautifully appointed and had a small covered patio area with a table and chairs. We loved having access to the pool, which was a great way to relax after a long drive. The motel was also conveniently located near the town, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the local festivities.

One minor downside was the internet connection, which was not very user-friendly and a bit expensive compared to other places we've stayed. However, despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still enjoyable and we would recommend this motel to others.

What a pleasant 8 days we spent at Ash Grove Boutique Motel. A warm greeting and a splendid cottage. Comfortable bed with quality bedding, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful grounds, lovely pool and BBQ shed. Great location with a nearby grocery store. Peaceful and pleasant. Stuart, the owner, was knowledgeable and helpful. Clean unit with a thought for the environment. Good kitchenette. Loved the towels and linens. Wonderful hosts and a sweet dog recovering from surgery. A great visit!

We stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel recently and had a fantastic experience. The location wasn't a problem as we were closer to other tourist treasures in addition to Paihia. The rooms were very clean, and the owners were charming. The hotel was away from the hurly-burley of downtown Pahia, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and were the loveliest and friendliest couple we've ever come across in any accommodation business across New Zealand. They were welcoming and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for places to go.

I had a great stay at a comfortable and convenient motel. The owner was friendly and helpful upon arrival, making me feel welcome. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had a comfortable bed and good TV. I enjoyed the swimming pool and garden area, which also had a barbecue for guests to use. Despite some faint road noise, the location was close to various attractions, making it a convenient choice. I would definitely stay here again.
