The motel's location is extremely convenient, situated close to the town centre, a favorite restaurant, and near the fire station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and brilliant showers. Guests are provided with white ware and small gadgets, while immediate access to wifi is an added advantage. The motel's facilities and its helpful staff make for a pleasant stay.

The motel does not have washroom facilities available after check-out.

The Wayfarer Motel in Kaitaia offers a comfortable stay at a great value. The location is central to the township, making it incredibly handy for exploring the town center and being close to everything we needed. The staff were friendly and provided helpful service throughout our stay. The basic amenities were well-maintained, and our room was kept clean and tidy. The beds were especially comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Everything was just fine, no major issues to report.

Friendly owners, dated property

I recently stayed at a motel in the Far North and despite some dated aspects, I had a pleasant experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. It was convenient to have parking right outside my unit, allowing for easy access.

Although the property itself felt like it was from the 1970s and the carpet was dirty, the owners' hospitality made up for it. I understand that it can be challenging to modernize in certain areas, so I didn't let it bother me too much.

The location was also great, within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. the room was spacious and had everything we needed.

The WiFi was a big disappointment. Despite the sign outside claiming free WiFi, we were told there was a charge for it.

stayed here previously in kaitaia, but wayfarer motel exceeded expectations during this crab fest. friendly staff, comfy room, and great location made the stay enjoyable. highly recommended.
