We had an amazing stay at a well-situated motel with spacious rooms and a beautiful balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped and the views of the bay were breathtaking. The owner was friendly and offered great recommendations for restaurants and activities. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location and comfortable accommodations.

This motel is perfectly located, close to town centre but quiet. It is very close to shops and restaurants, making it convenient to walk to everything in Paihia. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with spacious bathrooms. The friendly owners provide excellent service and make you feel welcome. The motel also offers free Wi-Fi and a guest laundry facility.

The motel could benefit from providing a shelf in the bathroom for toiletry bags.

It was just a short walk to restaurants and the waterfront. the rooms were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the kitchen was modern and well-equipped, making it convenient for cooking. the living area was spacious and comfortable. I had a wonderful stay at Austria Motel and would highly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay in a great location! The hotel is excellent, close to shops and the harbor, making it incredibly convenient. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, and well equipped with recliners. The small kitchen is also well equipped, which is a great advantage. Additionally, the hotel offers a nice view over the Bay of Islands.

A bathroom shelf for toiletry bags would be helpful.

This hotel in the center of Paihia exceeded our expectations in many ways. The value for money was excellent, with affordable prices for such attention to detail. Its location just behind the main coastal road made it easy to access everything in town. The staff provided great service and the rooms were equipped with all necessary facilities, including nice balconies and a well-equipped small kitchen.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a motel in Paihia. the room was incredibly spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. I particularly enjoyed starting my mornings with a cup of coffee on the peaceful patio just outside my room. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by the owner. I had accidentally left behind a very special picture in my room, and when he couldn't reach me by phone, he went above and beyond by driving to a nearby museum to return it to me. This level of care and kindness truly made my stay memorable. I can't wait to visit again!

the location was perfect, just a block from the bay and two blocks from the ferry wharf. the room was spacious and had a well-appointed kitchenette. the owner was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. it was one of the best hotel experiences I had during my seven-week trip. Highly recommended.

Roomy with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice balcony. The shower was good and the bed was large and very comfortable. The rooms were super quiet and had a good selection of TV channels. The motel is well situated just behind the main coastal road with very easy access to everything. The receptionist was very welcoming and left us a bag of oranges from the tree - thank you! The living area was large and offered a fine view over the bay. Elaine, who looked after the motel in the owners' absence, was very helpful. The motel was clean and comfortable. It is located just a 3-minute walk into town and to a supermarket, and a 5-minute walk to the wharf for boat trips. it was a mind-blowing experience with a spacious and nice room, a perfect kitchen, and a fantastic location. We had a great time, with generous service even when we arrived late. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.

We loved the location, close to grocery stores, beaches, and main shops. The staff were friendly and the room had a cozy, homey feel. Having a stovetop to cook meals was a nice touch. Plus, the beds were super comfortable!
