The decor at this lovely place is so charming and elegant, with beautiful flowers and cozy seating areas where one can relax and enjoy a cup of tea. the general areas are kept immaculately clean and well-maintained. the hotel is easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and elevators available for convenience.

Could use more seating with cushions for the children working there.

The Forest suite at Kanonkop House was breathtaking! the views of the lagoon from the private deck were incredible. the oversized king bed was so comfy, and the bathroom with the elevated slipper bath was pure luxury. I felt like royalty!

The rooms were spacious and cozy, offering a breathtaking view of the lagoon. the staff, especially Liesl and Mark, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. the pool was pristine, and breakfast was a hit with the kids.

Kanonkop House in Knysna was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed at, offering stunning views, clean and spacious rooms, and a friendly, welcoming staff. the owner, Mark, made us feel like family. the penthouse suites provided superb views, while the complimentary drinks and gin cocktails added a special touch.

Not one thing.

I stayed at a guesthouse situated on a hilltop with stunning views over a lagoon. My room, the Selwyn suite, had a large window that provided breathtaking views of the lagoon. The staff was incredibly nice and gave great recommendations for activities in the area. The breakfast was delicious and there was also a massage therapist available. it was a great experience with amazing views and excellent service.

The internet speeds at the guesthouse could use some improvement.

the swimming pool and sun terrace were perfect for relaxing, with sun loungers and beach umbrellas available. the spa centre provided excellent beauty treatments, including manicures, full body and head massages, and facials.

The room was well, equipped with exclusive facilities, including a treatment room and private bar, but the bathroom lighting was insufficient, making it difficult to apply makeup or shave. this was a minor issue that did not detract from the overall fantastic stay at this hotel.
