I stayed at a hostel in Rotorua and had a great experience at Rock Solid Backpackers. The atmosphere downstairs was relaxed, with a lounge area where I enjoyed playing table tennis and watching movies in the evenings. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was a nice touch to have free tea, coffee, and spices available. The accommodation and amenities were excellent, with a wide bathroom hall and comfortable and quiet dorm rooms. I appreciated being placed in an empty room initially, which ended up feeling like a private dorm due to the quiet weekend. The hostel was clean and had plenty of space in the kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms.

We had a fantastic stay at this backpackers in Rotorua. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything. We loved being able to walk to the supermarket and shops, and it was only a 5-minute walk to the Polynesia Spa. The hotel facilities were great, with comfortable beds and bedding, as well as air conditioning and a fan in our room. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering us suggestions and discounts for the theater and rock wall. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, and the ramps between floors made it easy to roll our luggage.

I recently stayed at Rock Solid Backpackers for a few nights during my trip to Rotorua. The room was simple yet comfortable, and I appreciated the daily cleaning and well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, with easy access to all local amenities and great for getting around. The free pool and table tennis in the common area added an enjoyable touch to my stay. Additionally, the staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to assist me with finding extra accommodation when my flight was cancelled and I arrived late at night. it was a great value for money and I would highly recommend this hotel.
