Quirky, fantastic, and fun

My wife and I recently had a weekend break at the Oddfellows in Chester, and we were blown away by the unique and stunning decor throughout the hotel. Each public area had its own strange and wonderful design that really spoke to our souls.

The value for money at this hotel was great, with a comfortable room and charming vintage decor. The hotel's location in the city centre was perfect, close to shops and the river. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast option could have been improved by serving it hotter each morning.

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend for our anniversary. The room was stunning, we stayed in the 'Newbrook' room with a circular bed, it was the nicest hotel room I have stayed in! The bed was extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant was amazing, equal to a Michelin star restaurant. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Oddfellows for one night during our week-long trip and were blown away by the size and tasteful decor of the apartment. The bathrooms and kitchen were fantastic, and having a washing machine/dryer was a godsend. Our 10-year-old loved having his own bedroom with three TVs. The breakfast was nice, although it took a bit long to arrive. The staff were pleasant and even left a lovely birthday surprise in our room. The hotel is in a great location, just a 2-minute walk from the town center.

I recently stayed at Oddfellows in Chester for a weekend getaway. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city on foot. The room was excellent, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The highlight was definitely the hotel's beer garden, which had a fantastic vibe with live music and lots of celebrations. The staff were attentive, polite, and always helpful. The restaurant served a delicious full English breakfast with a good menu selection. it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The hotel is located in a central area, close to many attractions and with convenient parking options nearby. The room was well-decorated, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a lovely bath and twin showers. The staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service. The hotel had a variety of styled areas, each offering a different atmosphere, and there was a fantastic outside garden area which was beautifully designed and well-presented.

The music from the bar could be heard in some of the rooms, which could be disruptive for those who prefer a quieter environment.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right in the center of the city. I loved that it was above the secret garden, which was such a lovely and peaceful space. The service was top-notch, with excellent room service and housekeeping. I also appreciated the little touches like a welcome drink and the well-stocked mini-bar in my room. The hotel amenities were fantastic, with everything I needed from ironing facilities to a hair dryer. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our party of five had a comfortable stay. They truly provided excellent customer service.

We loved the beer garden at this hotel, it was awesome and a lovely place to eat or just relax. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the exclusive offers we found on the website. The cleanliness was impeccable, important to us ladies, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the location was perfect as it was within walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, restaurants, bars.

The only downside we can think of is that some of the staff could benefit from additional customer service training. However, this small issue did not detract from the overall positive experience we had here.
