the staff at Bazils were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, especially the guy behind the desk who had just ridden the nearby mountain bike trail, the Old Ghost Road. They even provided transport to and from the track, which was super convenient. the hostel also had plenty of space for bike storage and gear, making it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. Even though I usually prefer more privacy, the en-suite family room I booked exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, with a double bed and two sets of bunk beds upstairs, as well as cooking facilities and a private entrance. the staff were great, and there was no noise disturbance at night. Plus, the murals around the building were absolutely stunning. I am already planning my next trip back for another ride!

We had a great time staying at Bazil's Backpackers. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when they upgraded us to a dorm room at no extra cost. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean, and the outside space looked lovely, perfect for enjoying in the summer. The highlight of our stay was the surf lesson provided by the hostel. The instructor was fantastic and made sure we had all the necessary gear. I highly recommend Bazil's Backpackers for a fun and affordable stay.

We had an amazing time at the surf school at this cozy hostel. The instructor, Steve, was fantastic and made us feel welcome right away. The social atmosphere was great, and we enjoyed chatting with fellow surfers. The hostel had a comfortable lounge room, and although the showers were basic, they were far from the worst we've seen. The town was a lot of fun, and the fact that even the Kiwi Experience bus stops here speaks volumes about its quality.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel in Westport that I would highly recommend. the location of this hotel is fantastic, being relatively near the beach. It's perfect for those looking to enjoy some sun and sand during their stay. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my time there. They made me feel welcome and were always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Lastly, the basic amenities provided were excellent, including rooms with a comfy bed and shared bathrooms. The hotel also served a delicious breakfast that set me up for the day ahead.

No negative aspects, everything was more than satisfactory.

Had a great New Year's experience at this hostel with some amazing facilities. Loved the cozy atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor sitting area, ideal for meeting new people and having parties. Location was convenient as it was close to shops and transportation.

The bedrooms were not comfortable as the mattresses seemed well used, thin, and uncomfortable. We also had to pay extra for using credit card which was not convenient and felt like bad service for a budget accommodation.
