We had a fantastic stay at this motel! the location was perfect, and we loved being so close to the lake. the spa and heated pool were a great bonus, especially for my son who enjoyed swimming in the pool. the equipped kitchen was a lifesaver as it saved us money on eating out. the provided shower gel, shampoo, and liquid soap were of great quality. the owners were friendly and helpful, guiding us to the local information stand. the room was spacious and well-furnished, with a comfortable QB and warm blankets. the TV also had the option to connect to Netflix. the partial view of Lake Taupo from the apartment was lovely. one of the nicest places we've stayed during our NZ holiday!

The rooms are comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms, and the friendly staff provide exceptional service.

The noise from the creaky floors can be quite disturbing, especially for light sleepers.

We had a fantastic stay at a motel near the lake. The motel's location was perfect, allowing us to swim, picnic, and cycle around the lake. The bed was comfy, making it a pleasant place to rest. I highly recommend this motel for a family-friendly stay.

The location of the motel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It is situated right on the lakefront, allowing for stunning views. Additionally, it is conveniently close to 2 cafes along the lakeshore, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. The room itself is spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay.

Had a blast during my new year celebration at the lakeside! the resort had wonderful complementary services, including free kayaking and biking facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. the key location of the resort, right at the edge of the lake, offered breathtaking scenic views which were remarkable.

The stairs to reach the room were quite steep and challenging to climb, which was a bit of a downside, however, manageable. I had a wonderful time at this resort and recommend it to other travelers looking for a peaceful and serene experience amidst the calming surroundings.

This hotel provides a luxurious and exclusive stay in a fantastic location. the service is impeccable, making us feel valued and at home. the Spa & wellness centre is relaxing, with a range of treatments available. the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi area is peaceful, offering guests a chance to unwind. the beach access is a bonus, with BBQ facilities and picnic tables perfect for an afternoon by the lake.

The only minor issue we had was the lack of a garden area or open-air bath. It would have been nice to have a peaceful outdoor space to enjoy, however, this did not detract from the overall excellent experience at this venue.

I had a fantastic experience at a motel in Taupo. the receptionist was incredibly gracious, even staying late to ensure I could easily find my room. They even thoughtfully left milk in the fridge for a cup of tea. the staff were excellent, always smiling and willing to help. the facilities were top-notch, with kayaks, bikes, a pool, and a spa available. the room was clean, well-ventilated, and had a brand new heat pump. the technology was modern, with access to both Sky and Netflix on the TV. I had a wonderful stay at the Cascades Lakefront Motel.
