Handy location, lovely view of gardens, great view of lake, helpful staff, spacious and private villas, comfortable bed and pillows.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The villa was surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The inside of the villa was spacious and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant offered delicious food in a relaxing setting. The staff, including the friendly manager, made our stay pleasant and comfortable. The hotel's central location made it convenient to access facilities and food, and its proximity to the lake provided stunning views.

We had a wonderful experience at a hotel that was ideally located, just across from the lake where we were seduced into taking a seaplane ride over Doubtful Sound. The room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom and the staff provided excellent service. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel also had a pool to relax in after a long day of exploring. It was the perfect base for us, being central to all town amenities.

The room could use a bit of modernization, but this was a minor issue considering all the other positive aspects of our stay.

We had a delightful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the lake right across the road. We especially enjoyed the spacious and beautifully decorated villa rooms. The comfort of the bed was exceptional and made for a restful night's sleep. The hotel staff provided top-notch service, with a special mention to the smiley receptionists who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The attentive wait staff in the restaurant ensured that our dining experience was excellent. We appreciated the range of amenities offered, including the indoor swimming pool, spa, and wellness center. This place truly exemplified hospitality at its best.

It would have been helpful if the exterior door lock was in better working condition, as it required extra effort to ensure proper security. Additionally, the breakfast and restaurant prices were on the expensive side.

Awesome Easter get-away! Enjoyed walking along the lake, just a few minutes from the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was super friendly. The comfy beds gave us a good night’s rest. , loved the spacious lobby and restaurant with stunning lake views.

The old facilities were a downside. Our room had no A/C, and we had to make do with a simple fan.

The restaurant had stunning views of Te Anu lake, and the food at the hotel was excellent. The staff provided great service, and the location was easily accessible with good parking.

Felt completely relaxed, no complaints.

We had a delightful stay at Distinction Te Anau Hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, just across from the lake and within walking distance to restaurants. The parking was ample, which was convenient for us. The heated bathroom mirror was a nice touch, preventing it from misting up. The cleanliness of the property, including the bedsheets and towels, was commendable. a decent place to stay.

Great location, nice pool, comfortable accommodations for 4 people. Helpful staff, roll away bed available. Adequate villa, small fridge, microwave, kettle, and utensils. Fantastic staff at reception and in bar/restaurant. Private spa available, close to glow worm tour and pub. Lake view recommended.
