Loved the buzzing dining vibes at Finns in Paekakariki—soba noodles to die for! Spacious rooms and prime location near cute cafes and the beach really set the scene. Despite the room being a sauna and the outdoor noise level, the delicious eats and comfy beds kept us satisfied. Nearby dining spots added extra flavor to our stay. a tasty experience with a pinch of room for improvement.

This hotel was a fantastic find for us! the room was spacious, modern, and had a balcony with a lovely view. the king bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa bath after a long day exploring. the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. We even extended our trip by 2 days because we were having such a wonderful time. the shower pressure was top, notch, and we loved the homely feel of the restaurant and bar area.

One thing that could be improved is the lack of balcony or window in some rooms, which made it a bit stuffy at times. the staff promptly provided fans to help with ventilation.

We had a fantastic time at this beachside hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the ocean and right near the train station. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a lovely spa bath and balcony. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant served delicious meals. The value for the money was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again.

The wifi was a bit weak in the rooms, but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment of our stay.

The location was excellent, close to interesting shops and a peaceful seafront. the room was well-appointed and the spa bath was fantastic.

My experience was marred by the lack of decaf coffee or herbal tea options in the room. there was some train noise that was a bit disruptive.

The food at the restaurant exceeded our expectations, with the best scotch fillet we've had in years and generous portions of a delicious mixed salad. The nearby beach was a short stroll away, offering stunning sunsets over the sea. The welcoming staff and spacious room made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place.
