During our Christmas stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the warm and caring service provided by the staff. They were attentive to our every need and made us feel welcomed throughout our entire stay. the game drives led by the rangers were exceptional. Not only did they provide insightful information about the park and its animals, but they also ensured that we had the best opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife. We were lucky enough to witness a herd of elephants right by the lodge, which was an unforgettable experience.

One aspect that we found slightly disappointing was the lack of flexibility with the dinner menu. Guests were only given the option of a 5-course or 3-course meal, without the opportunity to choose dishes individually.

We had a fantastic stay at River Bend Lodge. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is brilliant. The private concession in the national park made our game drives truly special, and our knowledgeable guide Jacques made it even better. The view from our room was stunning, and we were able to spot baboons, warthogs, and even a herd of buffalo. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend River Bend Lodge.

the lodge itself was incredibly comfortable with 5-star service. the staff and our guide were so welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. We had the chance to see a variety of incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and more. the game drives were a definite highlight, especially the night drive and stargazing experience. the food at the lodge was also fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience in Addo.

Lodge in private part of park. Herd of elephants by fence. Private ranger tours, expensive but worth it. Saw lions, elephants, zebras, etc. Honeymoon suite spacious, colonial style not for everyone. Excellent staff, helpful with safari. Breakfast with homemade bread. Good afternoon game drive. Unique location. Wonderful experience, from arrival to departure. Huge, comfortable beds. Ensuite bathroom with outdoor shower. Private patio with small pool. Knowledgeable ranger, highlight was seeing lions. Superb meals cooked by chef. Fantastic breakfast with variety. High tea in lounge with beautiful pastries. Memorable stay with friendly staff. Will definitely return.
