I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, right on the lakefront with a stunning view. The room was immaculate, with no dust to be seen, and it had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even leaving homemade cookies in the room. The service was impeccable, with the staff being friendly and hospitable. I also enjoyed the spa & wellness center, which provided a relaxing experience. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Located right on the beach, this motel offers stunning views of the lake. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery as soon as you step out of your room. Additionally, this motel is directly opposite the lake, making it convenient for those who want easy access to water activities. If you're a foodie, you'll love that there are great eating places nearby, ensuring you won't have to travel far for a delicious meal. Plus, the motel is conveniently located near the centre, making it easy to explore the city.

The complimentary biscuits and apples were a nice touch, and the view was stunning. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants. Plus, having a hot pool to relax in at the end of a long day was just what we needed.

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable to sit on. We had to bring in outdoor chairs just to be able to relax comfortably.

Our stay at Gables was exceptional. The location was great with a lovely view of the mountains and lake. We loved the separate living area from the bedroom, and the check-in was friendly and helpful. The ice machine in the service area was a brilliant idea for our evening G & T. The attention to detail, like fresh homemade biscuits and fluffy towels, made our stay memorable. The hotel even provided complimentary wifi and a washing machine. We would definitely stay at Gables again when we visit Taupo. I highly recommend this hotel.
