The spacious room with two king beds was a pleasant surprise, and the vibrant decor and cozy seating area made us feel right at home. the kids loved the little deck overlooking the garden, complete with fruit trees and seasonal plants. It was truly a family-friendly haven that exceeded our expectations.

My wife says that an information booklet for local navigation would have been helpful for families with children.

the rooms at gateway motor inn are clean and comfy - perfect for my work trips to wairarapa. the staff is super friendly and hospitable - making us feel very welcome. being close to amenities is convenient, and the little outside sitting area is a lovely spot to relax.

Travelling for business and stayed at Gateway Motor Inn for 3 nights. Warm check-in staff swiftly rectified a double charge. Lovely room with blackout drapes, comfy pillows, and quiet ambiance. Appreciated the spacious living area. Shower was heavenly, air conditioning perfect. Unique hotel with rooms named after racehorses; surprisingly tranquil despite its central location.

I really appreciated the spacious room with two king beds and a nice bathroom. The friendly staff member at check, in made a great first impression. the inoperative aircon and remote location requiring driving for dinner were minor inconveniences. The after, hours check, in process was extremely stressful, but eventually resolved. The bathroom could benefit from a steam extractor and adding sports channels would be a nice touch for enthusiasts. Despite some hiccups, the comfortable room, helpful staff, and convenient location would make me consider staying again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a heated mirror, which was a nice touch. I also loved having a private patio with a view of beautiful rose bushes and trees. The room even had a comfortable sofa and a large TV. The service was top-notch, with the owners being very friendly and accommodating. I particularly appreciated that they allowed me to check in a little earlier. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made my stay truly luxurious.

The bed was super comfy, the shower was fantastic, and the room was lovely and clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Gateway Motor Inn. The manager was attentive and even brought us a beer to apologize for having to move us to a different room. The bathrooms were very clean and modern, and having two king beds was a bonus. We appreciated being able to check out a little late as well. we had a great experience and would stay here again!

The location of the hotel was great, as it was close to shops and everything we needed. The room was comfortable, with a fabulous King bed and lovely bedding. The bathroom had a great shower with endless hot water. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

The kitchenette facilities were limited and very compact, making it difficult to use.

The location was central to where I needed to be, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the juice and cold drink on arrival, as well as the clean and relaxing spa bath.

The lack of air conditioning made it unbearable to stay in the room during the heatwave. the noise from the neighboring unit's plumbing was disruptive, and the TV channels were scrambled and hard to navigate.
