Staff helped me find great dining. Everything I need here: Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, ski storage. Love the golf course and skiing. In-room breakfast and cots available. No pets or smoking rooms. Perfect for my upcoming New Year's stay!

We appreciated the warm Kiwi welcome and the convenient location right in the centre of the village, close to everything you'd want to do in this city. the hotel grounds are well-maintained with beautiful gardens, and there's ample parking right outside the rooms.

We found a lovely lodge right in the center of town, with everything in walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of options for dining. The location was perfect, with the hot springs just a short walk away. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast during our stay.

We did encounter some difficulty with parking, as we had to park at the back of the last unit at the bottom of the drive.

My recent stay at Glenalvon Lodge Motel was amazing. The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. They even provided towels for the thermal pools, which was a nice touch. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a mini lounge and kitchenette. The location was perfect, being close to the springs and restaurants. I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved this place! The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do in Hanmer Springs. It was right in the center of town, close to all the attractions and just a short walk away from the bars, restaurants, and shops. Plus, we were thrilled to find out that it was just across the road from the hotpools and spa. Talk about convenience!

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanmer Springs. You won't be disappointed!

Truly enjoyed my stay at Glenalvon Lodge Motel in Hanmer Springs! Dale’s warm hospitality made the experience exceptional. Room was spacious, bed comfy, and bathroom huge. Only wish for more teabag flavors and movie channels, but still a 10/10. Will definitely return for old-fashioned Kiwi charm!

The towels were fluffy and smelled fresh, and the curtains blocked out the light perfectly. the hotel was situated within walking distance of the town centre and close to a beautiful natural setting. the complimentary tea and coffee were greatly appreciated, and the staff were friendly.

Neither the bed nor the pillows were very comfortable - not ideal for a romantic escape. There was also some inconsistent hot water when showering, which disrupted our plans.
